Ingredients:
The Delta T moisture/dryer control system (more info) consistently reduces the
moisture variation of ingredients exiting various dryer-types by 30% to 45%. The
Delta T is based on a unique “inside-the-dryer” moisture sensor consisting of two
temperature sensor and a mathematical model. This reduction in variation
enables the mean moisture content to be increased thus increasing production,
reducing unit energy consumption and improving product quality. Capital
payback is substantially less than one year.
The Delta T effectively replaces existing control systems that use: (1) the exhaust
temperature moisture control method that is based on a poor correlation between
dryer exhaust gas temperature; and (2) control systems that use “after-the-fact”
moisture sensors with a control system based on an “inside-the-dryer” moisture
sensor, thus significantly reducing the exiting moisture variation.
