DELTA T PRODUCTS
The Delta T moisture/dryer control system is based on a unique, patented, award-winning “inside-the-dryer” moisture sensor that reduces the moisture variation at least 30 %. This reduction in moisture variation produces significant improvements in product quality (elimination of over and under-dried product), productivity, and energy conservation. Payout of system is less than one year.
Delta T Moisture/Dryer Control System: usually reduces moisture variation a minimum 30 % and sometimes more, and where applicable, allows an increase in the exiting product mean moisture content without exceeding the upper specification limit.
Water Activity Option: Improved moisture control enables control of water activity for applicable products to prevent the proliferation of mold and other harmful microorganisms.
Warp Control: Since CD warp during manufacture of corrugated board is primarily the result of imbalance in moisture between the bottom and top liner boards, control of liner board moisture from the pre-heaters using a new Delta T moisture control development especially corrugators, should significantly reduce CD warp.
Lime Kiln Control: The quality of burnt lime produced in a Kraft paper mill recovery process can be improved by using Delta T technology for controlling the moisture content of the mud inside the kiln or in a fluidized-bed.
